On January 5th 2010, 22 year old PFC Jeremy Robert Thomas USMC of La Mirada, California was killed in an automobile accident at Camp Lejeune in North Carolina. Services were held at Green Hills Baptist Church in La Habra on January 16th 2010. PFC Thomas was laid to rest at Rose Hills Memorial Park that afternoon in the City of Industry California in the presence of loving family and friends escorted by the ever respectful Patriot Guard Riders and USMC Honor Guard.
PFC Thomas served one tour of duty over seas in Afghanistan with the 3rd Battalion, 8th Marines and was credited with a heroic attempt to save two fellow marines after their vehicle had been hit by an enemy road side bomb.
PFC Thomas is survived by his loving parents Terry and Robert, and sister Emily.
